Friends and family sick of hearing your problems? Can’t afford therapy? Can’t trust Claude not to sell your personal chats to Palantir? Well then we’ve got just the place for you.
*What's your problem* is a comedy conversation, where one comic will talk through your problems at Absent, a no-phones space, so the information stays between us. Bring your issues, we got tissues. Note: We’re not trained psychologists
Do we promise to solve it? No.
Do we promise to help? … 😬
Do we promise you’ll laugh? Geez, what’s with all the questions!?
How it works: Submit your name and a problem. A comic will come on stage, and draw a problem. If they pick yours, be ready to talk it out. Hosted by Ben Luks
Instructions
When you arrive, submit your name and something you’d like to talk about.
Write whatever you want. A comic will come on stage and draw a submission. If they pick yours, be ready to talk it out. It can be as broad as a general topic, or as specific as something you’re actually going through.
Serious, stupid, personal, trivial—it’s just a prompt for the conversation.
Example:
Name: Ben What do you want to talk about? Parents
or
Name: Ben What do you want to talk about? My estranged father is coming back into my life.
Write whatever you want. A comic will come on stage and draw a submission. If they pick yours, be ready to talk it out.
