Join me for a relaxed walking tour through East Portage Park, where vintage movie theatres, historic commercial buildings, beautiful parks, neighborhood institutions, and block after block of classic Chicago bungalows tell the story of this fascinating Northwest Side neighborhood. 🏡🎭 We’ll uncover stories of immigrant communities, neighborhood transformation, local landmarks, entertainment, and Chicago’s famous Bungalow Belt — including plenty of details you might walk past every day without noticing! 🎤 Led by your passionate, ever-curious guide (that’s me!) — perfect for architecture lovers, history buffs, urban explorers, photographers, or anyone who enjoys being a tourist in their own city! 😊 👣 PORTAGE PARK WEEKEND! This is Part 1 of a two-part Portage Park series! Explore Portage Park East on Saturday, September 5, then join us for Portage Park West on Sunday, September 6!
