The sound of the cimbalom
The cimbalom takes center stage. This characteristic instrument from the Romanian and Hungarian tradition is played by Dani Luca. He grew up with folk and Gypsy music in Romania. Together with clarinetist Jelmer de Moed, double bassist James Oesi, and members of the Dudok Quartet, the musicians take turns. From a subdued duo to a full ensemble, from exuberant virtuosity to serene poetry: you will experience it all.
