In 2006, two Dutch dancers, originally known as Lu-Chi'sz & Panic, shifted their focus and became DJs. Over the past 20 years, they have become household names within the global dance battle scene and beyond. Their continuous hunger for discovering new music has taken them through funk, soul, jazz, hip hop, R&B, house, broken beat, Afrobeat, Brazilian, Latin, and contemporary electronic sounds. For this club night, the duo reunites behind the decks to celebrate their 20th anniversary, taking you on a journey through a wide range of sounds and feelings. Part of Summer Dance Festival in Paradiso.
Lucas Benjamin
SDF-regular Lucas Benjamin's first encounters with music started at an early age. As the son of a DJ and musician he was nourished with a broad selection of sounds. Together with Leroy Rey, he co-founded Wicked Wax, a label blending soul, jazz, and funk with modern sounds. He also created Steppin’ Into Tomorrow, an Amsterdam-based platform showcasing Dutch music on the global stage.
Nobunaga
Nobunaga has been DJing for over 20 years, travelling the world to play at some of the biggest dance battles and events. Widely respected within the Breaking community, he is known for blending beats and breaks with hard-hitting drums and beautiful melodies. Originally from Enschede, Nobunaga is also the founder of “Remember the Time”, a successful R&B and Hip Hop party he started in 2012. Expect an arsenal of sounds as he takes you on a musical journey, moving fluently between genres. Standing still is NOT an option!
