What a beautiful winter! The Museumplein Ice Rink has been a delight for many over the past few months. Whether it was your first time skating, having a drink with friends, enjoying hot chocolate, or simply soaking up the winter atmosphere, visitors made the season truly special. Tradition and fun came together in the center of Amsterdam. With this memory, we're already looking forward to the end of the year, when we'll return with a new edition full of fun, winter cheer, and wonderful memories. With a rich history dating back to 1864, when the Amsterdam Ice Club brought skating fun to the neighborhood, the return of the ice rink is more than just a seasonal activity: it's a cultural heritage and a piece of the city's identity. Whether you're learning to skate, want to improve your technique, or just want to skate around, it's the perfect place for winter fun for all ages.

After skating, enjoy delicious classic dishes and hot drinks in the atmospheric restaurant by the ice rink. Or choose festive cocktails and winter drinks at the outdoor bar, the perfect place to relax after your skating session. For groups, the restaurant can accommodate up to 150 guests per shift, and the outdoor terrace is perfect for larger events for up to 1,000 people.
