DOZENS - Art Exhibition

Dozens is a solo exhibition by French-born, Austin-based artist Valerie Chaussonnet at Lydia Art Salon. Playfully inspired by the enduring use of twelve within the American measurement system, the exhibition explores the number as both a practical quantity and a symbol of abundance. Chaussonnet presents a vibrant collection of works in steel, clay, fiber, oil, watercolor, pastel, and wood, exploring recurring themes of love, nature, language, French food and culture, and the curious behaviors and inventions of humanity.
