LGBTQ Brunch & Curling Fun for Queer Community
About the event
Join us for a Queer Drop-in Curling followed by Queer Social Saturday Lunch. You can do either or both! This event is open to all *2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and allies* who are looking to enjoy a delicious brunch together in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Connect with like-minded individuals over brunch favorites and then head out on the ice for a fun-filled \~2 hours of curling.
Whether you're a *seasoned curler* or a *complete beginner*, this event is perfect for all skill levels. The sport of curling, and our location, are both accessible; ask me about any adaptive needs you may have! *Make new friends*, learn more about the sport of curling, and *share some laughs on the ice*. This event is 2SLGBTQIA+-friendly and designed to bring the community together in a safe and supportive space. Don't miss this unique opportunity to combine lunch, sports, and socializing all in one fantastic event!
Drop-in Curling starts at 11:10 AM (Please arrive no later than 11:00 AM) and runs until around 1:10 PM. This year's cost for curling is $15 per person. Social lunch starts after curling around 1:00 PM (Most items $12 or less) and takes place between our 60's style diner and our upstairs bar/lounge. For curling, dress warmly in layers and bring clean, flat-soled shoes, like running shoes). Credit Card only, no cash please.
