Magnificent Monday Meetup @ Cliffs of Id
About the event
Meet us in the top rope area by the benches at 7:00 pm and we'll climb together! We'll give each other belays, comradery, and encouragement. Join us! Must pass the top rope test first before belaying on top rope. Must pass the lead test with your own rope before leading or lead belaying.
*Note to anyone who might be nervous about attending this event*: Climbing is a personal journey between you and the wall. Your climbing skills will not be judged. You will not be holding back your belay partner no matter your level of experience. This is a friendly, supportive event that is welcoming to climbers of all skill and experience levels. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me at any time before, during, or after the event if you'd like to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about attending this event or about climbing in general.
LIABILITY: You, and no one else, are 100% responsible for your safety at all times. Your attendance at this meetup signifies that you agree not to hold this Meetup group or its organizers responsible for any injuries to your person or property that may occur. CLIMB AT YOUR OWN RISK!
BEGINNERS: If you've never climbed or belayed, please take the [Intro to Climbing class](https://touchstoneclimbing.com/cliffs-of-id/climbing-classes/) before attending this Meetup. The cost is $30, or free for members.
PRICE: Day pass is $30. There may be a discount if you let them know you're attending the SoCal Climbing meetup. Gear bundle rental (shoes, harness, ATC, chalk) is $5. If you buy a membership it will cover all Touchstone climbing gyms.
