Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, two of the filmmakers behind No Other Land, turn their attention to civilian deaths in the war in Gaza. Filming on Tel Aviv rooftops at night, they speak with members of Israel’s military and uncover the disturbing mechanisms behind the mass killings. Hearing the architects and enablers of violence describe their technical roles, and the thousands of deaths they caused, is both haunting and vital testimony. Winner of the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival, this is urgent filmmaking that does not shy away from confronting horror and those responsible. A Dogwoof release Screen: NFT4.
