About the event

Documentarian Poh Si Teng follows three prominent medics as they travel to Gaza to volunteer in hospitals overwhelmed by conflict. Palestinian-American emergency doctor Thaer Ahmad, Jewish American orthopaedic surgeon Mark Perlmutter and Zoroastrian trauma surgeon Feroze Sidhwa work in bare-bones emergency rooms, where the urgency of the situation sees them publicise the situation on TV news and, ultimately, to the US Congress. Courtesy of Conic Films. Screen: NFT1. Screening details: Special screening available; English language subtitles; Q&A with director Poh Si Teng, Dr Thaer Ahmad and Dr Feroze Sidhwa.
