92nd Annual St. Elias Mediterranean Festival
About the event
Get ready, Austin! The St. Elias Mediterranean Festival is back for its 92ND annual celebration of everything delicious, vibrant, and joyfully Mediterranean. Mark your calendars for October 16-18, when the city’s longest-running party takes over downtown with three days of mouthwatering eats, festive beats, and all the falafel you can handle. Hosted on the beautiful grounds of St. Elias Orthodox Church (408 E. 11th Street), just east of the Texas Capitol), this beloved community event has been serving up good vibes since 1934. And this year, it’s bigger, brighter, and even more flavorful! This year, enjoy traditional dishes from Greece, Lebanon, and beyond—like gyros, Kibbee, falafel, hummus, tabbouleh, spanakopita, and of course, plenty of baklava. Raise a glass, join a dabke line, and dance under the stars to the sounds of traditional Mediterranean music and live performances. With family and friends you can stroll through our open-air Mediterranean marketplace, where you’ll find unique jewelry, artisan goods, henna art, and handcrafted treasures. It's the perfect place to pick up a gift—or treat yourself. Admission: Just a $5 donation at the gate Free for kids 10 & under and college students with ID Free for everyone Saturday from 12 PM – 4 PM! Note: This is a cashless event, so bring your cards or digital wallet.
