VHU at Umlauf After Dark

Join VHU for a special evening at UMLAUF After Dark as part of Hispanic Heritage Month. VHU is the new electronic and experimental project by Colombian-born, Austin-based artist Ana Barajas, blending electronic textures, ethereal vocals, Andean melodies, South American instruments, and poetic storytelling. For this special performance, VHU will present a two-part live experience: 7 PM · Acoustic An intimate set featuring voice, charango, guitar, Andean flutes, percussion, and other South American instruments, surrounded by the sculptures and landscape of the UMLAUF. 8 PM · Electronic / Full Band The sound moves into deeper electronic territory, with synths, percussion, vocals, electric guitar and hypnotic textures accompanied by immersive landscape projections by Devras Plexi This is a celebration of sound, landscape, movement, and the connections between Latin American roots and contemporary electronic music. Come wander through the garden, experience the art, and stay for the music.
