X: The Man with X-Ray Eyes
About the event
Re-uniting with Corman after the previous year’s The Premature Burial – another entry in Corman’s Poe cycle – Ray Milland stars as Dr James Xavier, an ambitious scientist experimenting with eye-drops that produce X-ray vision. As he increases his dosage, Xavier sees more than he bargained for. Milland’s intense performance, which becomes increasingly unhinged, adds an extra chill to this impressive sci-fi horror. Screen: NFT2. Screening details: 35mm.
