WHITE NIGHTS
About the event
“Immaculately realized and restored … WHITE NIGHTS is an undeniable technical achievement — a loveless, albeit self-loving, film about the nature of love.” —The New York Times Marcello Mastroianni and Maria Schell star in Luchino Visconti’s emotionally resonant adaptation of Dostoyevsky’s novella. As always, Visconti leads the viewer into the emotional world of the characters with subtlety, tenderness, and precision.
