Turma Capital: Dance for All Bodies

Turma Capital: Dance for All Bodies

Edifício Oswald de Andrade, São Paulo

About the event

Laboratory for research and creation in contemporary dance grounded in the practice of Marcos Abranches. The project reexamines movement through physical diversity, deconstructing Eurocentric and symmetrical aesthetic patterns. Participants work with imbalance, spasm and gravity as choreographic resources and generators of scenic identity. The methodology integrates body awareness, guided improvisation and collective listening, transforming each performer's motor particularities into the dramaturgy of the political body. The process culminates in an authorial and collective composition, establishing dance as a practice of presence, accessibility and inclusion.
