Each Saturday night, The Shrine at Red Rooster Overtown brings together Afrobeats, Amapiano and Caribbean sounds for a dance floor experience rooted in diasporic rhythm and energy. Set in one of Miami’s most storied cultural neighborhoods, the event offers a space to move, connect and celebrate music from across the African continent and its global extensions. Running weekly, The Shrine: Afrobeats + Caribbean Heat takes place upstairs at Red Rooster from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. The May 31 edition is part of the 2025 Third Horizon Film Festival, offering festivalgoers a lively after-hours option that aligns with the event’s broader celebration of Caribbean and diasporic culture. The series is open to the public.
