The Guardian Angel

Shaistha's canon event was an accident that ended up killing the purpose of her life. Mourning the loss of her dreams, she battles the void and voice inside her head. In one such mental battle, she loses it and dies in an impulsive suicide attempt. Searching for eternal peace in the afterlife, she finds herself stuck in neutral lok. The only way to peace is to serve as a guardian angel to a human and carry out the tasks assigned. Reluctantly, she agrees to be one to a 21-year-old aspiring musician, Chelsea, only to find fulfillment in her life even when she no longer has it. The new age play incorporates live music, audiovisual experience, and movement choreography. It has mentions of suicide, self-harm, and talks about darker conflicts of the human mind. It strikes a conversation about the importance of mental health through personification of inner voice and the intuition that saves the day.
