The Grackles

The Grackles are an old-time duo featuring Scott Prouty on fiddle and Les Armstrong on guitar and vocals. Scott brings a deep knowledge of West Virginia fiddle tunes and original instrumental compositions while Les brings raw, spirited vocals and understated back-up guitar lines. Their sound encompasses hypnotic fiddle grooves and heart-wrenching ballads about love and loss, reflecting the lives of Appalachian settlers long since past.
