It is on every 2nd Sunday morning 10.15am-12pm and 4th Friday evening 6-7pm. Welcome to join us to relax your body, breath and mind. This is the foundation class leading to practice the " Silent Illumination " Chan Meditation, founded by Master Dongshan Liangjie (807-869) in China with a lineage history of 2600 years. After you had attended 20 or more foundation class, you are eligible to join our Samadhi Class. Program 1. Overview: Background & Lineage of "Silent Illumination" Chan Meditation. 2. Guided Moving Meditation outdoor in a park (morning class). 3. Guided Sitting Meditation (both morning & evening class): * Preparatory Exercise * Vairocana Seven Check Points of Sitting * Guided Relaxation * Noble Silence - apply method * Regulate Body Breath Mind 4. Experience sharing Q&A Benefits of Practicing Chan Meditation Mental 1. Calming the Mind, focus on one thing at a time. 2. Strengthen the Mind, building Resilence. 3. Relax and rejuvenate. 4. Develop insight wisdom gradually. 5. Realise "reality" of mind and universe -- enlightenment. Physical 1. Physically rewires your Brain structure - medical study at USA. 2. Prevents Dementia.
