Science for children at Hemlab

Ten years ago, the Youth Lab started in two small Eurometaal offices on the Hembrug site. Now, children and parents can once again drink tea and experiment with it. Discover how healthy tea is, why the color changes, make sounds with teacups and spoons, create an old treasure map with tea, and launch a fiery tea rocket. Experimenting in the Hemlab In the Hemlab, the Science Laboratory for children, your young researcher will perform exciting experiments and conduct investigations on Saturdays and during the holidays. All children put on a researcher's coat and, after safety instructions (put on safety glasses, watch out for fire, and beware of hot water), get to work independently. Will your child come alone or work together with a brother, sister, friend, or parents? We challenge children who come alone to work together with other children. And there are always supervisors to assist your child. Every month there is a different theme with different experiments. On Thursdays and Saturdays, there are science courses. On other days, your child can come celebrate their science birthday party. There are special school workshops for the education sector.
