I Don't Know You in Heaven – Glodi Lugungu

In 'In de Hemel kent ik jullie niet', Glodi Lugungu takes the audience at Theater Bellevue into the silence after the storm. About how life sometimes hits incredibly hard, and then suddenly... nothing. No applause, no answer, no idea. From his perspective as a child of two worlds (Congolese-Dutch), he tells stories about identity, expectations, discomfort, and the art of absurdism; about everything you hear and see in the end. About Glodi Lugungu As a child, Lugungu fled the DR Congo and exchanged his homeland for a life in Dommelen, near Eindhoven. There, he grew up in a family with nine children. At Glodi, football was instilled in him from an early age, but his teammates soon discovered the comedian in him. In the locker room, he would happily tell the funniest stories. The Congolese comedian then seized his opportunity in 2017 during an audition for the Comedytrain in Amsterdam. After a 1.5-year probationary membership, Lugungu is now an official member of the Comedytrain.
