About the event
Ricardo – an actor and tijeras dancer (a traditional scissor dance) from Ayacucho – explores his personal history and how it has been shaped by cycles of violence in the region. It seems as though, time and again, deaths are required to honor the region’s name. Can the cycle of a cursed people be broken? Gallery
