FORAT is a non-verbal clown and mask theater performance created by Dudu Arnalot, a Catalan artist with extensive experience in physical theater, contemporary circus, and comedy. The starting point is simple and striking: “if you put a stone in your pants pocket, after a while it’s still there… but if the pocket has a hole, then everything changes.” From this small, everyday image, a surprising scenic universe is born, where the most common objects transform into poetic triggers, comic mishaps, and small wonders. FORAT is a wordless show, accessible to audiences of all ages and languages, built on the language of the body, rhythm, mask theater, and direct interaction with the spectator. Moving between surreal gags, delicacy, wonder, and tenderness, Dudu Arnalot invites the audience into a world where the absurd emerges from the everyday: a “hole” becomes a metaphor for loss, surprise, possibility, and imagination.
