A DanceWorks CoWorks Series Event Inspired by the urban landscape, Affect | Effect explores the tension between connection and isolation, visibility and anonymity, and the continuous loop between internal states and the external world. Living in a “concrete jungle,” the natural world and our interconnectedness are often obscured, even as they remain ever-present. Affect | Effect examines how architecture, proximity, and observation influence behaviour and perception. The work creates a shared space of reflection on connection, environmental influence, and our responsibility to one another.
