Located right next to the venerable Burgtheater—a true home of culture—and the historic City Hall, the Roncalli Circus Theater will unfold its colorful magic starting September 16, 2026. Bernhard Paul’s Circus-Theater Roncalli is ready to kick off its grand anniversary tour to celebrate the 50th birthday of “Europe’s most admired circus” (Washington Herald Tribune). The Roncalli team has prepared a veritable fireworks display of ideas for the 50th anniversary. “The program is not meant to be a ‘best of’ or a poetic, dreamy retrospective, but rather to open a door to the future!” says the Roncalli founder and circus director. The beloved Roncalli spirit and the courage to innovate will remain: “Strengthened by the experiences of the Roncalli concept’s 50-year history, we’re embarking on the anniversary tour with enthusiasm and passion.
