The Art of Hosting is a practical, hands-on workshop designed to help you become a more thoughtful and confident host. Rather than simply showing you how things should look, this workshop gives you the opportunity to learn, practise and create for yourself. You’ll work through the small details that can completely transform the way a gathering feels, from building a beautiful cheeseboard and styling a harvest table, to creatively folding napkins, creating name cards and more. Along the way, we’ll share simple hosting principles around colour, height, presentation, music, scent and atmosphere, with time to actively try the techniques yourself. Leave with practical hosting skills you can use again and again, from styling a table and presenting food beautifully to creating the thoughtful details that make guests feel welcome.
