About the event
Broken English examines the many faces of icon Marianne Faithfull through her final artwork and performance spanning 60 years. Set within a stylised Brazil-esque Ministry of Not Forgetting, the film features Faithfull interviewed by agents Tilda Swinton and George MacKay. The event presents her own final recorded performance alongside renditions by artists such as Beth Orton and Nick Cave.
