Join Vancouver-born author Don Levers for a presentation of his new book The (Almost) Perfect Heist, and learn about his research deep into police archives and decades old news stories on a story many witnesses still refuse to speak openly about. -- Born in Vancouver, Don Levers is the author of the bestselling children’s book Ogopogo: The Misunderstood Lake Monster. In 2017, Don was recognized as an up-and-coming author by the Vancouver Public Library for his heist-inspired novel Loot for the Taking. His passion for storytelling and history also led to Our Father’s Footsteps: Stories of WWII Veterans’ What If Moments, created after a pilgrimage to Normandy. Today, he and his wife make their home outside Edmonton.
