Attack of the Crab Monsters

This early example of exploitation sci-fi horror was made – even by Corman’s economic standards – on a shoestring budget and aimed squarely at the teen market. A group of scientists travel to a remote Pacific island to understand what happened to a team of researchers previously stationed there, but who appear to have disappeared. Unfortunately, they are joined by giant, hungry, mutated crabs – a side effect of the radiation produced by the Bikini Atoll atomic tests. Screen: NFT2.
