Omul, an eleven-year-old boy living in a seaside village, can talk to animals but cannot understand his own brother. When the mythical sea creature Sadumea steals the soul of his younger sister, the brothers must embark on a dangerous expedition to the edge of the world. Accompanied by the dog Teli, they traverse icy wastelands and the Archipelago of Fire, facing not only magic and monsters, but above all their own emotions.
Boy at the Edge of the World is a breathtaking animation about the power of empathy and courage born from love for those closest to us. The film is directed by a duo: Grzegorz Wacławek and Marta Szymańska, who combined the epic scope of a fairy-tale expedition with an intimate story about family relationships, growing up and responsibility.
