Habitat Restoration at Mt Davidson (meet at the cross at the top)
About the event
Come and admire what sustained effort by habitat restorers can do! Every Wednesday the Yerba Buena (San Francisco) chapter of the California Native Plant Society offers the opportunity to restore habitat alongside our members, and the expert native plant staff of SF Recreation and Parks Natural Resources Division. This is your chance to see special places that were saved from development and are rich with local native plants.
This week's location is: Mt Davidson. (Meet at the cross at the top of the hill). Mt. Davidson hosts a diverse array of plants and animals including many migrating birds. Meet at the tallest naturally occurring place in San Francisco, at the memorial cross (enter opposite 45 Dalewood or 9 Dalewood and take trails to top).
