Social & Language Exchange — Free Talk & Make New Friends

Join a community language exchange event in downtown Vancouver. Practice English, Japanese, and other languages while meeting people from around the world. Every Tuesday in August 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Cafe Marie (425 Dunsmuir Street) Fee: $5 — Instagram followers of Yatta Canada $10 — all others Cash only. Pay the organizer on the day. Participation fee plus at least one drink or food purchase at the café required. Seating rotates every 30 minutes so you can speak with many different people. Bilingual question sheets at each table help if you're unsure what to say. First-time participants and solo guests welcome. Fluency not required — just come, relax, and enjoy meeting new people. Ideal if you want to casually practice languages, make international friends in Vancouver, or are new to the city. This is a community-based social language exchange.
