Singer Kovacs did not want the release of her new album Static Tears to pass unnoticed. That is why she is creating a one-off moment tonight: one intimate setting, close to the audience, to celebrate the new album live for the first time. Expect a cinematic, soulful evening in which Kovacs' dark, soulful voice comes together with the new, electronic sound of Static Tears. On 13 November 2026, Static Tears will be released, the new album by Kovacs and her most progressive record to date. Where her earlier work balanced between soul and dark, cinematic pop, Static Tears is entirely electronic: old-school electro, vocoders and analogue synthesizers, partly recorded in Berlin. It is an album about emotion in a digital age, about authenticity and connection, and about the question of whether technology and feeling can go together. At the same time, it is her most personal record, written from the peace she found within herself over the past few years. In honour of the release, Kovacs is playing an exclusive, intimate show in our Kleine Zaal tonight.
