This surprisingly green urban hike takes us from Golders Green to Woodside Park, following a route through some of London’s hidden green arteries. We’ll leave the busy streets behind and discover woodland paths, waterways, parks, leafy trails and quiet corners that feel a world away from the city — all while staying firmly within London.
At around 5.5 miles (9 km), this is a manageable urban hike with plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings. We’ll stop for a lunch break along the way, before continuing towards Woodside Park and finishing conveniently at the station.

• 🥾 Difficulty: Easy, moderate and on mostly flat terrain.

Please arrive a few minutes early so that we can set off promptly.
The walk will finish at Woodside Park Station.
