Come and sing with us at The Young Girls of Rochefort (Les Demoiselles de Rochefort) !On the occasion of Car Free Sunday, Bozar presents Jacques Demy’s classic musical, and everyone is invited to join in and sing along. As a troupe of fairground performers arrives in Rochefort, in Charente-Maritime, where a festival is being prepared, the lives of several characters in search of true love — lost or yet to be found — intertwine in this vibrant seaside town. Enjoy this cult musical comedy, featuring the timeless songs of Michel Legrand. The screening will be hosted by singers Muriel Legrand, Julie Duroisin and Jonas Wertz, and the audience will be invited to join in and sing the film’s songs. Feel free to come in costume if you like.
