Humanists Join the Race Against Cancer (Group Run)
About the event
Join our team to support the Singtel-Singapore Cancer Society Race Against Cancer (RAC) 2026! Donations will go towards cancer awareness and prevention, treatment subsidies, welfare assistance and other programmes by the Singapore Cancer Society.
NOTE: Stadium MRT is not the final location, although we will be meeting nearby. To obtain the exact location, follow the steps below!
How to join the Group Run
1. Get a Team Code. For this, please email the team lead at min@humanist.org.sg by 18 Sep (Fri). In the email, please include • your name (required) • Telegram username (required) 2. Register yourself with our team. Follow the link below to join the Humanist Society (Singapore) (HSS) team, Hope Runners, latest by 19 Sep 2026 (Sat) using the Team Code. Non-HSS members are also welcome! Earlier registration would allow us to add you sooner to the group run chat.

FAQ
• *Is this event free?* This group run is free. However, registering as a participant in the Race Against Cancer may require a donation or committing to a fundraising target. More details are available on https://www.raceagainstcancer.org.sg/. • *Why is the HSS team arranging its own group run?* As the HSS team is mainly participating in the Virtual Race category, we are organising our own individual or group runs over the race period. • *Will I be expected to run at a certain pace / for a certain duration?* No, team members will be free to run at different paces and stop anytime! We also plan to gather after our runs for an optional dinner. • *What if the haze / air quality is bad?* We may switch to an indoor, air-conditioned route. Details will be shared with registered team members.
