Super ParquetSuper Parquet combines traditional folk music from central France with electronic production, using repetitive rhythms and textures that reflect elements of modern techno. Instead of preserving the folk music in a conventional format, the group blends regional heritage with electronic instruments to create an energetic live experience.The band moves in the crossroads between two different musical backgrounds. Antoine Cognet, Louis Jacques and Léo Petoin focus on drone-heavy music and the triple-time bourrées from the village dances of Auvergne. At the same time, Julien Baratay and Simon Drouhin contribute elements from electronic music and rave culture using synthesizers and machines.By focusing on the common features between folk music traditions and electronic loops – especially repetitive patterns, drone tones and acoustic overtones – Super Parquet connects regional history with modern club music. On stage, they use traditional instruments, electronics and custom-built synthesizers to create a loud, cohesive performance built around regional dance rhythms.TRUCSTRUCS is a percussion project based on an unconventional instrumentation consisting of amplified cowbells and modified drums. The French duo uses this setup to create irregular rhythms, solid beats and sustained drone tones. Regional folk melodies and harmonies from the Pyrenees melt together into one cohesive piece lasting 45 minutes.The project consists of Alexis Toussaint and Romain Colautti, both members of the rock band Artús. Starting from the pastoral heritage of the Béarn region, they combine regional history with real-time electronic processing. Their name means »blow« or »collision« in the Occitan language and also refers to the specific brass bells worn by mountain cattle.The structure of their performance refers to transhumance, the seasonal migration of livestock, characterized by physical exertion and isolation. On stage, the musicians perform face to face, surrounded by custom-made drum kits, traditional tambourines with strings and a custom-built stand with hanging bells. This arrangement combines regional dance structures, acoustic overtones and sound distortion to recreate the sonic environment of the Pyrenees in a concert hall.
