Waterfall to Waterfall Hiking Challenge at Suraksan!

Hello CIKers! Do you want to escape the summer heat without leaving the city? Let's cool off with a hike to the beautiful waterfalls on Surak mountain and soak our feet in the water during the hike! Suraksan Cheonmun Falls is a waterfall in Geomundol(Heukseok) Valley. It's like there's a rock between the two rocks It is called Cheonmun waterfall because it looks like it faces the sky. This hike will take roughly around 5 hours, depending on the speed and ability level of our group. The trail is classified moderately difficult and will cover some steep and rocky terrain, and there are sections involving stairs and metal handrails. So, you must be careful and know your hiking ability. For this hike it is extremely important to wear footwear appropriate for hiking-shoes or boots should be able to grip rocks and prevent you from slipping/falling, since the trails have some steep rocky areas. It should be a fantastic, exhilarating hike, so if you are ready for a challenge, don\`t miss this great opportunity! **Details:** **Where to Meet:** **Buramsan stn on line 4, exit 1 outside (We will take a city bus 1-8 and get off at Bbaebul Village 빼벌마을)** **Date and Time: August 8th, Saturday at 11:00am** **What to bring:** Appropriate footwear for hiking (we recommend sturdy hiking shoes or boots-we **DO NOT** recommend sneakers or sandals), clothing appropriate for the weather & extra clothes, snacks/lunch, plenty of water, etc. Difficulty: easy to difficult Altitude: 465m Distance: about 8 km Estimated trip time: 5 hours(including rest time) **A Few Notes:** \- Our activities and time might change according to weather\, traffic\, and etc\.
