Is this your event?About the event
Melbourne doesn’t just drink coffee, it lives and breathes it. On this two-hour walking tour, you’ll explore the stories behind the city’s famous laneway culture and discover how Melbourne’s love affair with espresso helped shape its identity.
You'll begin at Federation Square before diving into Degraves Street and Centre Place, where buzzing cafés and street art capture Melbourne’s creative and caffeinated soul. Over a cup from a local favourite, you’ll learn how postwar migrants transformed the city into the coffee capital of the world.
From the elegant Block Arcade to music-filled ACDC Lane and graffiti-splashed Hosier Lane, the city’s vibrant history unfolds with every stop. The walk continues through Chinatown and past Pellegrini’s, Melbourne’s original espresso bar, before looping back to Federation Square.
Two hours of art, culture, and caffeine – a perfect blend of stories and sips in Australia’s most coffee-obsessed city.
