Artist Talk: Hyejeong Kim—The Journeying Potter
About the event
Join artist Hyejeong Kim for a talk about the ideas and processes behind her ceramic practice, tracing the journey from the raw clay to her finished works. Grounded in Korean and broader East Asian ceramic traditions, Kim's craftsmanship and technical discipline are the foundation for her creative freedom and transformation. Through wheel throwing, hand manipulation, glazing, and firing, she unites precision and spontaneity, allowing the body's movement and touch to shape her process.
Made possible by the Carol Given Winston Fund for Docent and Patron Education.
