Spooky Pack Walk with LARPBO in Griffith Park
About the event
Join LARPBO for a spooky pack walk to get into the mood for Halloween!
We'll meet in the parking lot near Chrystal Springs Picnic area pad A, B, C in Griffith Park and then walk along the route for the Haunted Hayride.
The Hayride won't be open for business yet and before it starts operating later in the day, the park is open to the public.
There will be lots of opportunities for spooky photos of your pups and yourselves. Not scared yet? Join us!

REQUIREMENTS: ➊ Complete and submit a [Member Form and Release of Liability](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdqY0MnqIOkSK68BH04MRHbz1VWpLKIRuarQhTkK1QNmuPcGQ/viewform?usp=sf_link) ******before** you come to your first class or packwalk. ➋ While we do not require you bring these documents, make sure your dog is current on the following: Bordetella vaccinations/titer and rabies vaccination for dogs 4 months and older OR Bordetella vaccination for 4 months and younger; and
• Local animal care and control agency licensing requirements.

Please read entire description before you RSVP. RULES: *First rule of our pack walks is to BE SAFE so that everyone has fun!* All participants must comply to ALL guidelines below or will be asked to leave the event.
1. Participants limited to 22 people. RSVP is required to hold a spot. As soon as you know you cannot attend, cancel your reservation. We understand last-minute changes take place; however, if you don't show up more than two times you will be placed on the wait list for future events. 2. If you feel even slightly ill (including a headache, sniffles, minor fever or even an allergy), do not attend this event. Stay home for your health and safety of others. Remember to cancel your reservation. 3. Maintain a 6 foot distance from other participants not in your household. 4. Face mask/shield is optional. Please maintain a 6' distance from anyone choosing to wear a mask.

PARKING: There is a large parking lot and nearby parking lots are available, too.
WHAT TO BRING: Water for you and your dog. There will be some distractions and stimuli, so bring some value treats for your pup, too.
PACK WALK DISTANCE: About 1.5-2 miles round trip.
TRAIL: Mix of paved, dirt path and grass.
DIFFICULTY: Easy
DISTRACTION LEVEL: There's the usual- other park visitors, other dogs, birds, squirrels, an “unofficial off-leash” dog, and of course ghosts and other spooky elements.
LARPBO PACK WALK GUIDELINES: #1 All dogs must be on a secure collar and leash. Dogs using e-collars must also be on a leash. Prong collars should be backed up with a carabiner. Short leashes are recommended (less than 6 feet). Retractable leashes and harnesses are not allowed as they provide little control. #2 PLEASE NO NOSE TO NOSE CONTACT (dog to dog that is).
