[Yongsan Cultural Foundation x Amorepacific Foundation] Nature in the City

<도심 속 자연(Nature in the City)>은 아모레퍼시픽재단과 박근호(참새) 작가의 협업으로 탄생한 작품 ‘루미너스 그린(Luminous Green)’에 신작을 더해, 도심 속 새로운 자연의 풍경을 선보이는 전시입니다. 아모레퍼시픽재단의 ‘버려지는 것들의 아름다움’ 프로젝트로 제작된 작품 '루미너스 그린(Luminous Green)'은 폐기된 화장품 공병을 빛의 모듈로 재구성하여 새로운 감각을 전달합니다. 쓰임을 다한 사물에 빛을 더해 새로운 생명력을 부여하고 이를 통해 또 다른 형태의 자연을 만들어냅니다. 이번 전시에서는 지름 2m 규모의 인공 태양 ‘루미너스 썬(Luminous Sun)’을 더해 은은히 빛나는 초록빛 초원과 일렁이는 빛의 태양은 도시 속 자연을 마주하는 듯한 감각을 전달합니다. 일상 속에서 우연히 마주하게 되는 이 전시는, 물리적 공간으로 들어서는 순간 도시를 잠시 벗어나는 경험으로 이어집니다. 잊고 지낸 자연의 감각을 일깨우며 새로운 방식으로 자연을 바라보는 시간을 제안합니다. presents a new perspective on nature in an urban environment, featuring Luminous Green, a collaboration between the Amorepacific Foundation and artist Park Keunho (Chamsae), alongside newly introduced works. Created as part of the Amorepacific Foundation’s “Beauty of What is Discarded” project, Luminous Green is an installation that transforms discarded cosmetic plastic bottles into illuminated modules. By giving new life to objects that have lost their original purpose, the work reimagines nature through light. In this exhibition, a new piece titled Luminous Sun, a two-meter-wide artificial sun, is introduced. Together with the softly glowing green landscape, the shimmering light of the sun creates an experience that evokes a sense of encountering nature in the city. Appearing unexpectedly in everyday surroundings, the exhibition invites visitors to step into the space and momentarily step away from the city.
