Science at Night! Science for ages 7 and over at the Hemlab & Night of the Night
About the event
During the national event "Nacht van de Nacht", all the lights in the laboratory will be turned off. Once your eyes have adjusted to the dark, you will discover light phenomena that you miss during the day: coloured shadows, glow in the dark, fluorescence, glowing drinks and blue chemistry. At Hemlab, the science laboratory for children, your young researcher will carry out exciting experiments and conduct research on Saturdays and during the holidays. All children are given a lab coat and, after the safety instructions, put on safety goggles and get to work independently, with fire and hot water. Whether your child comes alone or works together with a brother, sister, friend or parents. We challenge children who come alone to work together with other children. And there are always supervisors to assist your child. Every month there is a different theme with different experiments.
On Thursdays and Saturdays there are science courses. On other days your child can come and celebrate their science children's party. For education, there are special school workshops.
