SALT Architects: Lessons in Designing Educational Buildings

Join SALT Architects for a design dialogue on the principles and strategies they use to create high-quality and cost-effective educational buildings in the South African context. Drawing on a few local projects, the presentation will unpack the ideas, challenges and decisions that shape their approach to creating educational spaces. SALT Architects is driven by imagination, humility and a commitment to making architecture with meaning. Through a close engagement with landscape and human experience, SALT translates the tangible and intangible qualities of each project into environments that give meaning and value. Creating architecture that is materially grounded — buildings that are closely attuned to their surroundings, and quiet moments of wonder within the everyday. Capacity for the talk is limited, please RSVP.
