Read & Riff: A Book Club for Short Story Lovers
About the event
How much of another person do we really know? How much of attraction is actually imagination? Can Cat People really be trusted?
We’ll discuss these questions and more at the next Read & Riff meeting, where we’ll discuss Kristen Roupenian’s short story Cat Person.
Read & Riff is a book club for short story lovers. We come together to share what we loved, hated, questioned and everything in between about a selected story.
Read the selected story in advance, then join Debbie (your host), who will bring questions and a few creative exercises to guide the discussion and keep the conversation flowing.
There are no experts, no homework beyond the reading, and no right answers. Just good stories and even better conversations.
Join us! All opinions are welcome!
Date: 21 August 2026 Time: 18:30 - 21:30 Place: Mon Ami, Roháčova 135/20, Žizkov
