Is this your event?About the event
Join us for an easy-paced 5 mile walk along the Greater Lake Creek trail, East Brushy Creek trail, and surrounding Round Rock neighborhoods. Don't expect breathtaking scenery - just a simple walk along small town and suburban greenbelts and sidewalks. We'll take a short break midway with water and restrooms at [Play for All Abilities Park](https://www.roundrocktexas.gov/city-departments/parks-and-recreation/play-for-all-park/).
Participants must sign a Liability Waiver at the trailhead. You may view the waiver document: [https://tinyurl.com/SCSignUpSheet2020](https://tinyurl.com/SCSignUpSheet2020).
The walk will officially end a mile from the starting point, to allow us to visit the free [Diwali Festival](https://rrdiwalifest.com/). (We often stay together, but can't guarantee it.) There will be music, Bollywood dancing, arts and crafts, and food and drink available. Bring cash / card for purchases, and a phone and perhaps flashlight for [navigation back to the start](https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Centennial+Plaza,+301+W+Bagdad+Ave,+Round+Rock,+TX+78664/800+Deerfoot+Dr,+Round+Rock,+TX+78664/@30.5077013,-97.6772743,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x8644d1eb6f189ed7:0xd4ace00ddbece849!2m2!1d-97.6808005!2d30.5062464!1m5!1m1!1s0x8644d1b8805fcff7:0x97913f404dff1e20!2m2!1d-97.6684791!2d30.509558!3e2?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI2MTAwNy4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D).
If not already a member, we encourage you to [join the Sierra Club](https://sierraclub.org/texas/austin) (the national club, not just the Meetup group), and support our conservation and outreach programs..
