What's going on with dating these days???
Dating apps, talking stages, ghosting, situationships, endless first dates… and somewhere in all of this, there are a million other things you're apparently supposed to know too, like what to look for, when to text, when not to text, what's a red flag, whether you're wasting your time, whether you should give someone a chance.
Dating has become exhausting and confusing. So instead of adding more rules, we’re going to go back to square one and actually give ourselves the opportunity to learn about dating.
What if being single could also be a moment to become curious again? 💭
I think there's definitely more to explore in dating than we usually give ourselves room for.
You don't have to arrive with a dating success story or a particularly interesting dating life. You can be dating a lot, not dating at all, newly single, happily solo, or somewhere in between.
This is a real class with a teacher so don’t forget to bring a notebook and a pen. Be ready to notice, talk to people, and perhaps see dating from a slightly different angle than you're used to.
And yes, we are going back-to-school to learn about dating, because why not? 🎓
There are 5 dating classes during this semester, happening every two weeks at The Unusual Coffee Bar in Brussels.
The five classes do form an arc, but each class stands on its own.

Dating Class 01 — Dating From Myself (Sunday, October 11) A class about becoming curious about what dating can be for you.
Dating Class 02 — Being With You (Sunday, October 25) A class about practicing what it actually means to be with another human.

Now, about the teacher: Krystal Vargas Olivencia is a Somatic Sex and Relationship Coach, based in Brussels. She creates spaces where adults get to learn about dating from the ground up, with the chance to look at relating and relationships from different perspectives and experiences.
