Join anthropologist, folklorist and author Dr Amy Hale in conversation with Jamie Sutcliffe, discussing her new book

This evening will be a celebration of Dr Amy Hale's spellbinding new Tate Publishing book, Magic: Beyond the Supernatural in Contemporary Art.Drawing from the book’s global survey of 45 groundbreaking artists, this event uncovers how artists invoke ancestral knowledge, experiment with altered states and rewrite the rules of modern art history.Whether you are an art lover, a student of the occult or simply curious about the boundaries of human creativity, this evening promises to transform how you view contemporary art.The evening will conclude with a Q&A session with both speakers, followed by a book signing with Amy.
