Assembly: Roots and Dub Reggae

Roots reggae, dub selections and Jamaican sound system culture come together for a monthly gathering in Historic Overtown. Assembly takes place every first Friday at the Dunns-Josephine Hotel, bringing DJs, food and community-focused programming to the neighborhood.

The recurring event centers on deep roots selections, dub rhythms and vinyl sessions inspired by classic Caribbean sound system traditions. Guests can expect a Dub Sound System Yard, Caribbean food market, cabana lounge areas and space for dancing, conversation and connection.

Happy hour drinks are available from 4 to 6 p.m. Capacity is limited, and RSVP is recommended.
