About instructor Renato Riani
Renato Riani is a photographer, researcher of historical photographic processes and restorer of 19th-century photographic equipment. He has worked as an arts educator in cinema and photography for nearly two decades through cultural programs including Fábricas de Cultura, Sesc, Programa Vocacional and Rede Daora. He shares practices in historical processes and analog photography with emphasis on large format. He has developed portable laboratories for teaching and practicing photographic techniques and chemical processes in under-resourced locations such as public schools and cultural centers throughout São Paulo.

MIS Course Conditions
→ Course cancellation or date changes If minimum enrollment is not reached or due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure, the course may be cancelled or dates and times adjusted. In such cases, the MIS team will contact all enrolled participants by email with necessary information.
→ Technical issues If technical problems prevent class from occurring, we will contact students by email to inform them of the steps to be taken in coordination with the instructor and MIS team.
→ Enrollment cancellation To cancel enrollment and request a refund, send an email with your request within seven days of purchase. If the purchase occurred fewer than seven days before course start, cancellation is limited to 48 hours before the course begins. If cancellation occurs after these deadlines, no refund will be issued, but the participant may transfer their spot to another person who will retain the full 100% paid value. Combo courses do not permit refunds for individual modules after the first module begins, as the package becomes unavailable for other purchases once sold.
→ Certificate To receive a participation certificate, attendance of 75% of classes is required.
